Proud Business Owner

August 2020 - Monica Beetree; 27

Monica woke up early in the morning, she had to get to the bank to buy her new community lot. It was a wonderful plot of land that had natural fruits and veggies growing on it. She was surprise no one had bought it yet.

Monica gets to the bank just as they are opening and get in an office in under 10 minutes.
Goopy: So Miss Beetree, what can I do for you?
Monica: I would like to buy the community gardens.
Goopy: It comes with some attachments. Like you can't get rid of the plants ever and if you want to sell it you have to sell it back to the bank, you cannot sell it to another person. Do you understand and agree with that?
Monica nods her head and signs the paperwork. It cost her 15,000 dollars but at least now she had a way to make some money.

Monica heads out of the bank with her head held high, she was now a proud business owner!

Right over to the business she discovers it has a ticket booth. Whoever owned this place before her obviously didn't make much money and with a ticket booth they were not going to make much. She gets on her phone to order a counter and register. She planned to sell the fruits and veggies she grew.

After a long and exhausting day at her new business, Monica is happy to be home.  She met a lot of new people but there was one she couldn't get her mind off of. He was very handsome and she hoped he came back to the shop.

The next morning Monica could feel the fall breeze start to roll in. She headed to the mall to buy a nice sweater with the bit of money she received yesterday at her shop.

Showered and fresh Monica headed to the garden. She got a call that the counter and register had been delivered and she couldn't wait to turn off that ticket machine.

Business was even better today with the fresh lemons on display. She still had much to learn in the art of service and sells but she was a fast learner.
